For all of you eco geeks aut there I’ve got very good news,a car that only burns 1,5 litres of fuel for every 100 km .That must surrely make your hearts explode.The German company Loremo has been developing this car for some years now and discovered a grea recipe:a light car with enough room inside for 4 people,and the most economical engine they can fiind.Sounds great doesn’t it?The car weighs 450 kg so there’s no need for a powerfull engine tu power it.

There’ll be 2 version of this car,a LS with a 2 cylinder turbocharged engine and a GT that has a 3 cylinder turbodiesel engine.Both versions have top speeds exceeding 160 kph and an acceleration from 0 to 100 kph in 20 and 9 secconds.The Gt has 50 HP and the LS only 20 HP.Even so,the GT won’t need more than 3 litres for every 100 km so it’s seif to call it the first green „sports car”.

Now to get to the weird parts:there are no doors.If you want to get in you have to open the front end!And if you want to sit in the back then the booth will be your door.The engineers from Loremo say that they had to make the car this way because of some safety issues.Being so light,they had to fins sollutions to make the car safer and it seems that the less body pannels you have the safer the car is.Another problem is that the back passengers will have to look through the back window because the rear seats are placed at 90 degrees than in a normal car.That might be a problem for some people.

The engine is placed bethween the 2 rows of seats and the car can receive electric engines.The prices aren’t sobig:11.000 euros for the LS and 15.000 for the GT.
