Honda launched in Italy a special edition that is named Honda Civic Type S Fireblade, that was inspired by the Japanese constructor`s CBR1000RR Fireblade motorcycle.
Available in three colors (black , red and silver ) , Honda Civic Type S Fireblade stands out thanks to it`s front/rear spoilers and the air intakes, all painted in graphite. In addition to that, the side mirrors, the door handles, the tank lid and the 18 inch alloy rims, are also painted in graphite color.
The special edition Honda Civic Type S Fireblade can also be easily recognized by the “Fireblade” logos that can be seen both on the inside and on the outside of the car.
Under the hood, the guys from Honda had equipped this model with a 2.3L i-CTDi diesel engine, that can let loose 140 HP @ 4000rpm and a power couple of 340 Nm @ 2000rpm. With a 6 speed gearbox, the Honda Civic Type S Fireblade can go to 100 km/h in approximately 8,6 seconds and a top speed of 205 km/h, in the conditions of a 5,2 L / 100 km consumption.
The price of this special edition car is of approximately 25000 euros.
