Cadillac made public the first pictures of their new crossover called the SRX.The actual car will be on sale starting next year and is supossed to be a breath of fresh aer in the compact SUV market.The design says Cadillac but we’ll have to wait and see if the ride is as good as expected.It will be hard for the American manufacturer to gain popularity in this segment but I think it’s worth a try.Afterall,the American car industry has so much to offer.
“The next-generation SRX is the result of the continued exploration and refining of Cadillac design language, with the goal of creating dramatic presence in the luxury crossover space,” says Clay Dean, Cadillac design director.
It will be hard for the SRX to make it over the ocean but I think that Europe will welcome it very well as it wants for a long time an original compact SUV that has a fresh design.As I said,the handling will be a big problem because if it doesn’t live up to the expectations,the car will be a disaster.
For Cadillac to make a truck is just plane stupid, they make CARS. Stick to what you know. 40 Grand for a truck that will NEVER go off road is just STUPID. Leave the truck to the big boys.
