Audi does it again with the TT clubsport quattro

Nowadays if you want a great engine you go to Audi. This became a fact these days when the German manufacturer released unde the hood of the TT a new monster:300 HP squeezed from 2 litres. The car is called Audi TT clubsport quattro and will is a cabrio. The windshield is changed, and has no upper lip and the side windows took a dive to the back. And because we talk about a actual (limited edition) driving car, safety has also been taken into consideration.

The interior has been worked at and seems to be better that in an normal TT with the black-orange combination.

But the best part remains the engine,a engineering feet. The petrol 2 litre power plant develops 300 HP,obviously helped by a turbo. That means over 150 HP/litre,wich is remarcable, even for a turbo engine. As you could have guessed from the name, the car has ALW and the shifting will be hadled by an S-Tronic gear box with duble cluch disks. The brakes came of an Audi TTS and the suspenssion has been tinkered with.

All we expect now are the price tag and the actual car in stores.

Audi reveals updated A3

Audi has unveiled some updates for the 2009 A3 and S3. Both models are a little larger than the previous versions. The front of the A3 gets a new look that includes a complex design around the grille, some modern headlights with optional bi-xenon units with LEDs. The interior is updated with a new aluminum design, new colors for the seats and a new look for the controls for the audio system. As for the engines, the Euro-only diesel engines were updated with a fuel injection system. All the engines comes withe the S tronic transmission, and the 1.6, 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI engines can be bought with a new developed seven-speed version.

It’s official: the 2009 Audi Q5

After months of spy photos and speculation there are finally official news about the Q5 CUV. The new model uses the same underpinnings as the A5 coupe and A4 sedan/wagon and unlike its bigger brother, the Q7, does not share architecture with a Volkswagen corresponding model. Proof of this is the longitudinally mounted engine opposed to the transverse one of the VW Tiguan.

The Q5 is at the heart of the mid-size CUV and has a more compact and tidy design overall than its heftier Q7 sibling, in line with Audi’s philosophy of being a premium sports-car brand.
Audi’s Q5 has a clear resemblance with the the A4 Avant, yet has distinct design features as well. Comparable in size with the Infiniti EX, BMW X3 or Acura RDX, Audi seems to have substantially more space for its occupants.
